About Anubis

Anubis Advisors is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Island Capital Group LLC (ICG), an international real estate merchant banking and asset management firm. Under ICG, Andrew Farkas founded Anubis in March 2010, which is headquartered in New York. Anubis is in the distressed debt acquisition, asset management and real estate advisory business. Anubis provides strategic planning, executive management, restructuring, M&A and other financial services to ICG’s portfolio companies, including C-III Capital Partners. Anubis’ and ICG’s management teams are comprised of many of the same professionals responsible for developing and expanding Insignia Financial Group, Inc., which became one of the top three leading commercial real estate services firms in the world, from 1991 to 2003.

Anubis serves as the exclusive advisor to C-III Capital Partners LLC, an institutional fund management and real estate finance company that, among other things, serves as special servicer to a portfolio of approximately $120 billion of commercial mortgage backed securities through its subsidiary C-III Asset Management LLC. Under Anubis’ management, C-III’s intention is to integrate a principal capital deployment and M&A strategy within its operations to acquire incremental CMBS, CMBS fund managers, and other servicing operations. C-III also intends to pursue institutional third-party servicing relationships and to expand into business lines complementary to those in which it presently operates.
